1,000 AIR SQUAT CHALLENGE

&

On Friday, August 27th Athlete E.G.O. and I are bringing you the "1,000 Air Squat Challenge". You have from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on 8.27.10 to complete 1,000 Air Squats. This will be a World Wide Challenge. The challenge can be followed through the Twitter hashtag #1000Squats. The first person to video tape ALL their squats and send it to me and Jorge will win an $25 Elite FTS gift card. (Note: The video taping is optional, just for those trying to win the gift card.)
The winner will not be notified till day's end. Obviously because we want EVERYONE to finish.
Check out EliteFTS and the gift card here ..... http://bit.ly/chfs7y.

Here is an instructional video with the proper cues
on how to air squat:

World Class Fitness in 100 Words

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climbs, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, , flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or Six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports . - - Coach Greg Glassman, Crossfit Founder.
