News and notes after the first week:

1. Crossfit HQ has asked us to join their family of affiliates. In no time we will be calling  ourselves Crossfit Select instead of CF Select. I want to thank everyone for all their support. Everyone has been great, keep up the hard work.

2. My first corporate account was attained. I will be running some lunch time classes at URBN INC.  HQ. They own Urban outfitters, Anthropologie, Terrian, and Free People. Classes start Sept 15th at the Naval Yard.

3. All in all it was a great first week and first step to achieving CF Select's vision.

World Class Fitness in 100 Words

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climbs, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, , flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or Six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.
