The next two days bring on some exciting area sports.

After cruising through non-conference play, Penn State opens Big Ten play against Illinois. the Nittany Lions have scored more points in four contests that any team in the 122-year history of the program. The Illini are coming off a by week. Penn State has won 23 of their last 25 at home. Expect a whiteout and lots of noise from Happy Valley.

After a 2-1 start the Eagles travel to soldier field to tackle the 1-2 Bears. With a banged up McNabb and possibly no Westbrook this Sunday matchup could prove to be a test.

World Class Fitness in 100 Words

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climbs, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, , flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or Six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.
