Deadlift Challenge Winners. . . . Get Some!

We had another awesome turnout for our Challenge. More and more fierce competitors are joining us. We had powerlifters give it a shot, a number of CrossFit games athletes, and some bad ass trainers. This one for me was really about raising awareness for Steve's Club. So again check out www.stevesclub.org and show them your support.

Now to the winners, who had INSANE PERFORMANCES!
The men's division was won by Austin Malleolo. He was a top finisher in this years CrossFit games and USAW/CrossFit Meet. This men's division was very tight. A few guys clocked in at :59 seconds but as we know EVERY SECOND COUNTS. I watched Austin go :58 live and in person.
And well I was damn impressed:

The ladies division comes down to a tie breaker!
Dee from CrossFit Iron Will
VS.
Carey Kepler of CrossFit Central
VS.
Wendy Shafranski of CrossFit Vero

Dee did the challenge twice in about 20 mins because she only did 49 reps the first time. She moves fast on the second attempt with a remarkable time of :49. However her hips do not come to complete extension. Now since she was such a fierce competitor, she moves on.
Wendy and Carey both put up awesome times of 1:02.
The Final:
1:00 AMRAP of 185.
I need all the videos shot from a profile position.
Deadline is Thursday 9pm EST.

World Class Fitness in 100 Words

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climbs, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, , flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or Six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports . - - Coach Greg Glassman, Crossfit Founder.
